Highwaymen tame the Rams
to win League Title (26/03/08)
The Highwaymen needed to take 13 points to ensure
winning the league title . After 2 legs this looked as
if the Highwaymen may have to wait another week to
seal the league. The Highwaymen were 5 pins down and
the Rams looked in the mood to make it ma tough night
on the torrid Railway Alley. But good battling spirit
allied with some good bowling ensured the Highwaymen
took an 18 point haul . The Highwaymen's consistency
in the end proved to be to much for the Rams and a
team total of 411 gave the Highwaymen a 21 pin win.
Keith
Collins , Adie Wise and James Rushton all posted 40
plus scores.

Highwaymen ensured they are within one win of the
league title after an 16-4 win against a resilient
Tower team who never gave up the ghost. Tonight's win
was due to a good steady display throughout the team .
With no players scoring under 33 the Highwaymen did
enough to win the game. Phil Read Gary Rudge and Trev
Davis all posted important spares to keep the
Highwaymen in front.

unable to stop Highwaymen (05/03/08)
Despite starting the game in
dissapointing style the Highwaymen in the
end won this game in a comfortable
manner. The Rushwick team only posted a
80 first leg. But that proved to be
enough as the Highwaymen seemed to be
nervous and only scored 79. After this
the Highwaymen did not score below 90
with Rich Franklin proving to be the
bowler of the night. Rich getting two 9
in ones in a score of 56 . the highlight
being a superb 18 spare.
Trevor Davis also
did well with a 40 score. While Keith
Collins took bolwed extremly well for his

Highwaymen
blitz kills off Here House King Pin
Hopes. (15/02/08)
A superb team
perforamance killed off any hopes that
the Here House had of beating the
Highwaymen. Here hosue who are pushing
the Highwaymen all the way in the league
weere made to pay for a poor start to the
game . The Highwaymen started with a good
88 leg. This put them over 20 pins
up. This proved to be the killer leg as
the Highwaymen repelled any thrust the
Bulls made with an equally good
leg.
Highwaymen
do no slip up on Casuals Bannana Skin. (13/02/08)
